Helen Tredgett

Helen started her teaching career in 1993, after completing a degree in Physiology (BSc Hons) at Sheffield University. She is a passionate science teacher and became Curriculum Leader at her previous school, helping all students to secure outstanding outcomes in the subject.

Helen entered the profession in order to improve the life chances of students and raise aspirations. In her previous role of Pupil Premium Champion, she focussed on providing on ensuring that students had support, were not disadvantaged and promoted equity.

She has recently joined Don Valley to be part of a community driven academy and to give students opportunities to achieve their potential and become valued members of society.
