As part of the experiences we offer at Don Valley Academy we are offering over 200 of our Y7 students the chance to go to the ball to see the pantomime Cinderella at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford.

The impressive line-up for this year’s spectacular pantomime includes panto legend, Billy Pearce, as the loveable Buttons, Emmerdale star Samantha Giles as The Wicked Stepmother and celebrity baker and Strictly Come Dancing finalist John Whaite as Dandini. Dale Mathurin will play Prince Charming and Yorkshire local Sarah Pearson will perform as the title role of Cinderella. Phil Hitchcock as Magician Baron Hardup; and Wendy Somerville and Larissa Alexandrovnia as The Wicked Stepsisters.

We want all students to experience the magic of the theatre and Cinderella is packed with all of the traditional ingredients including laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses.
