Home to school travel and school bus provision: from 1 September 2022

We are reminding customers to apply for a travel pass to get cheaper travel. Zoom Under 16 and Zoom 16-18 Travel Passes offer anyone aged 11-18, who lives in South Yorkshire, travel for 80p per single journey on any bus or tram in South Yorkshire and half fare on local trains. With a Zoom travel pass young people can also buy cheaper 1, 7 or 28 day public transport tickets. Schools and families are being asked to consider whether it is possible to try walking, scooting or cycling to school.
