Careers Step Up Day

Students have taken part in our fist Careers Step Up Day of the year. Our Careers Step Up Days are an important part of the school calendar and involves students taking part in a number of careers related lessons/workshops. Year 7 and 8 challenged stereotypes that exist in some workplaces and took part in workshops to develop employability skills. Year 9 explored why first impressions count and got to know about their employment rights. Year 10 took part in financial workshops, explored HE and took part in the Burberry Enterprise Challenge. All students also took part in a careers in the community event. This required students to raise donations for a local foodbank.
