Fundraising for Yorkshire Air Ambulance
As part of our Life of a Student, our Year 8 students have had an assembly today to launch how they will contribute to the life of our school and play their part in #TeamDVA.
In Year 8 we ask our students to raise funds for a charity voted for by them. This year the choices were from The Royal British Legion, Ben Kinsella Trust, The Trussell Trust and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The vote was unanimously for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The challenge set is for each student to raise £10 pound in 10 days in innovative ways.
We want students to understand that “Little Things make a Big Difference” and that if we collaborate together, we can show our kindness to support others which is exactly what our school values promote.
